Matt Puccia at New Hampshire
Puccia will call his 12th NSCS race at New Hampshire on Sunday. In 11 previous starts, Puccia has recorded three top-fives and four top-10s with a best finish of third coming in Sept. 2011 and Sept. 2013 with Roush Fenway Racing teammate Greg Biffle.
Recapping Chicago
An inopportune caution during the first round of green flag pit stops on Lap 48 trapped Bayne one-lap-down to the race leaders. Bayne fought to get into the free pass position but long green flag runs made track position hard to come by. In the end Bayne was scored with a 23rd-place finish.
QUOTE WORTHY
Bayne on racing at New Hampshire:
“We’re ready to rebound this weekend in New Hampshire. We ran better than where we finished here in July and I know that (crew chief) Matt (Puccia) will give me a really solid AdvoCare Ford that will give us a chance to get up front and see what we can do.”
