Biffle in the Daytona 500
Biffle has finished in the top 10 in the last four Daytona 500’s.
Biffle has 13 career Daytona 500 starts, earning two top-five and six top-10 finishes.
Biffle earned his first ever career Sprint Cup pole position in 2004 for the Daytona 500.
Daytona 500 Highlights
2014: Biffle qualified third, narrowly missing a front row starting position. Biffle brushed the wall early on in the 500, but rebounded to lead eight laps on his way to an eighth-place finish.
2013: Biffle finished second in both the Sprint Unlimited and the Duel, setting himself up fifth for the Daytona 500. Biffle was looking at a third-place finish, until the bottom line made a move in the end, resulting in a sixth-place finish.
2012: Biffle is part of the Daytona 500 all-Ford starting row with a second-place qualifying. During the race Biffle led the field eight different times for a combined total of 44 laps. In the end he fell just short of winning, settling for a third-place finish.

KFC Recognizing Restaurant Managers
Biffle’s No. 16 KFC Nashville Hot Ford Fusion will carry along over 2,100 names of restaurant managers for the Daytona 500. Each manager represented on the No. 16 is being celebrated for leading the retraining of all employees in the original ways the Colonel made his Fried Chicken.
Nashville Hot Chicken
Nashville Hot Chicken, which will be featured on Biffle’s call all throughout Daytona Speedweeks, is the Colonel’s latest creation and was inspired by Nashville’s most famous dish. It’s spicy, smoky, crispy chicken that’s bold and full of flavor. KFC’s Nashville Hot Chicken is the biggest thing to happen to spicy chicken since Buffalo Wings.
Biffle on the Daytona 500:
“Practice went really well in our 500 car, but qualifying wasn’t what we had expected. We’ve still got the Duel on Thursday to try and secure a solid starting position for the Daytona 500 in our KFC Nashville Hot Ford.”
Pattie on the Daytona 500:
“Our Daytona 500 car is pretty good and we feel good about our chances. The Unlimited certainly didn’t go our way, but we never gave up. We expected a better outcome in qualifying, but we have a good car and still have the Duel Thursday night to improve our starting position.”
