One Year Ago at Loudon

New Hampshire Motor Speedway is a home track for the Roush Fenway team and Greg Biffle celebrated NESN’s 30th anniversary with a special car design.  The No. 16 Ford didn’t have the turn Biffle needed early on in the race, but the team never gave up, making the necessary adjustments to leave Loudon with a top-15 finish.

Chicago Bound

Biffle and the No. 16 team will be part of the NASCAR team test at Chicago on Wednesday, July 15th to work on intermediate packages and the low downforce package from Kentucky.

In the Points

Biffle is currently 18th in the point standings, 53 points out of 16th.

Biffle on Loudon:

“Loudon is one of the more unique race tracks that we race at.  It’s a little bit flatter mile race track.  The thing I like about it is you can diamond the corner or run down on the apron a little bit and up the race track.  It gives a lot of opportunities to pass even though it’s difficult.”

Puccia on Loudon:

“Loudon is a flat one-mile race track and offers good side-by-side racing.  We had a decent run earlier in the year at Phoenix before we had a few issues late in the race  but I feel like we have a good handle on it.  We learned some stuff at Richmond that will translate over to Loudon this weekend.  Loudon is getting to be a little more worn out surface which allows for different pit strategies with tires because of fall off in the tire.”
