In his three previous starts, Buescher’s best start is 12th (2013) and his best finish is sixth (fall 2014). Buescher did not finish lower than ninth in last season’s two races at the 1.5-mile track.

On the Car
The No. 60 Ford Mustang carries the Roush Performance colors this weekend at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Roush Performance Parts is a premier supplier and engineering services provider, most known for its line of high performance Mustang powertrain parts, including superchargers, cold air intakes and exhaust kits. The list goes on to include a full line of wheels, tires, interior, grilles, graphics, service parts, accessories, drivetrain, cooling upgrades and more. In addition to Mustang, Roush Performance Parts also offers performance upgrade packages for Ford F-150, Superduty and Focus.
Recapping Iowa
Buescher made a strong move on the final restart of the day in his No. 60 Roush Performance Ford Mustang to earn his second career NASCAR XFINITY Series victory on Sunday afternoon at Iowa Speedway. With the win, Buescher regained the points lead. When the final caution flag of the day came out as the field came to take the white flag, crew chief Scott Graves gambled and called his driver down pit road for right side tires. Buescher exited pit road as the first driver with fresh tires. The 22-year-old driver lined up third for the final restart. A strong move and a push from his teammate, Bubba Wallace catapulted Buescher to the lead for the green-white-checker finish. Buescher would go on to win his first race of the 2015 season and the second of his NASCAR XFINITY Series career. Buescher led 94 of 259 laps to capture Roush Fenway’s fifth win at Iowa Speedway in the last 11 races.
QUOTE WORTHY
Chris Buescher on racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway
“Obviously last weekend was a great one. We are really looking to build on that momentum this weekend, racing our Roush Performance Mustang in front of the home crowd. I’m excited to have some family and close friends here this weekend to watch. I got my best finish at Charlotte the last time we were here, so I think we will be in good shape this weekend.”
