Buescher Continues Strong Season With 3rd-Place Run At Bristol; Sits Atop XFINITY Series Point Standings
BRISTOL, Tenn. (April 18, 2015) – Chris Buescher meticulously powered his way through the field for a third-place finish in Saturday afternoon’s NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway and in the process regained the series’ points lead. It was Buescher’s fourth top-five finish in seven starts this season.
Buescher was joined in the top 10 at Bristol by Roush Fenway teammate Elliott Sadler. Bubba Wallace, who ran in the top 10 for the majority of the race, finished 12th. Ryan Reed rounded out the Roush Fenway order with a 21st-place finish.
Roush Fenway occupies four of the top six slots in the NXS standings, with Wallace (4th), Reed (5th) and Sadler (6th).
