Chris Buescher to ‘Take Over’ Roush Fenway Twitter During XFINITY Race at Iowa Speedway
CONCORD, N.C. (June 15, 2016) – Chris Buescher, the 2015 NASCAR XFINITY Series Champion and last spring’s defending race winner at Iowa Speedway will take over the Roush Fenway twitter channel (@roushfenway) as the NASCAR XFINITY Series takes the green flag at 1:30 p.m. ET on Sunday at Iowa Speedway.
Last season, Buescher led 94 laps at the .875-mile track on the way to his first victory of the 2015 season. With the victory, Buescher regained the lead in the NASCAR XFINITY driver point standings, and held on to it for the remainder of the season, earning the inaugural XFINITY Series championship.
“I love racing at Iowa Speedway,” said Buescher. “Last spring was obviously a really special weekend for us to get our first win of the year. I’m excited to watch my Roush Fenway teammates, and I hope one of them can get to Victory Lane too.”
Buescher will provide his commentary for the opening portion of the NASCAR XFINITY Series race on Sunday. Fans that want to ask Buescher questions can participate using the hashtag #ChampChat.
