RFK Comes Up Short at Clash at the Coliseum
LOS ANGELES (Feb. 5, 2023) – The LA Coliseum played host to the NASCAR Cup Series’ exhibition, season-opening race for the second year in a row Sunday afternoon. Despite a strong effort, RFK’s Ford Mustangs did not qualify for the main, 150-lap event.
RFK turns its focus to the official start of the 2023 season in Daytona next week. Single-car qualifying (Wednesday, Feb. 15, 8:15 p.m. ET, FS1) for the Daytona 500 sets the tone for on-track activity next week. The duels are slated for Thursday night (7 p.m. ET, FS1), with the Daytona 500 set for Sunday at 2:30 p.m. ET (FOX, MRN, SiriusXM NASCAR Radio).
