RFK Racing Sweeps Daytona Duels
Chris Buescher made a daring move on the last lap of Thursday Night’s Daytona 500 Duel-qualifier to put himself in victory lane, giving RFK Racing a clean sweep of both duel races.
“It’s a statement to everyone from our organization and everyone back at the shop that we’re gonna work really hard to put really fast Mustangs on the track every week.” said Buescher. “It was a statement that the Clash was not something that we expect… this is really a good way to reverse that storyline and get us headed on the right track.”
The pair of wins will put both drivers on the second row for Sunday’s Great American Race. With those two wins paying ten points each, Brad Keselowski and Chris Buescher are currently tied atop the NASCAR Cup Series points standings.
Sunday’s DAYTONA 500 kicks off at 2:30PM EST on FOX.
