Wallace, Leidos Kickoff Partnership in Dover

CONCORD, N.C. (Sept. 28, 2016) – This weekend’s NASCAR XFINITY Series race at Dover International Speedway marks the first of four Leidos sponsored events for Bubba Wallace, driver of the No. 6 Roush Fenway Racing Ford Mustang. Earlier this year, Roush Fenway announced the multi-race partnership with Leidos, a global science and technology solutions company.

“I’m very excited to get on the track this weekend with Leidos,” said Wallace who is fifth in the NASCAR XFINITY Series Chase Grid heading into Dover. “It’s really a cutting-edge company that shares our dedication to excellence and high performance. I’m honored to represent a company of its caliber and have them featured on our car as we push toward making that final round in the Chase and winning the championship.”

Leidos will serve as the primary sponsor for Wallace in the NASCAR XFINITY Series Chase races at Dover (Oct. 1), Charlotte Motor Speedway (Oct. 7), Kansas Speedway (Oct. 15) and Texas Motor Speedway (Nov. 5), as the team looks to make a deep run into the inaugural Chase and race for the championship in Homestead.

For Wallace, this weekend at Dover is one of high optimism.

“I love Dover,” said Wallace. “We finished second here in the spring and it has always been my favorite track on the schedule. Hopefully we can run strong there again this weekend and give the Leidos folks a good show on Saturday.”

The No. 6 Leidos Ford Mustang makes its debut Oct. 1 at the “Monster Mile” of Dover, where Wallace finished second in the spring and has led a career-high 52 laps.
